ICPC at Tilburg University for TILTing Perspectives 2026: “Between Values and Innovation: Tech Governance in a Multicentric World”
The Internet & Communication Policy Center took part in TILTing Perspectives 2026, the international conference hosted by Tilburg University and dedicated to the theme “Between Values and Innovation: Tech Governance in a Multicentric World.”
During the conference, Mauro Santaniello and Chiara Spiniello contributed to the debate on digital sovereignty with the paper “Digital Sovereignty in the European Parliament.” Their contribution examined how digital sovereignty is articulated, contested and reconfigured within the European Parliament as a pluralistic arena of EU digital governance.

Tech governance in a multicentric world
TILTing Perspectives 2026 brought together scholars working at the intersection of law, technology, governance and society. Within this broader framework, the ICPC contribution addressed one of the most debated issues in contemporary digital policy: how Europe negotiates autonomy, dependency and power in an increasingly contested digital order.
