Domenico Fracchiolla is Associate Professor of History of International Relations at Università Mercatorum, where he also serves on the PhD faculty in Big Data and Artificial Intelligence and as Internationalization Coordinator for the BA in International Relations and Economic Development. He teaches in the Cyber Security Master’s program at Luiss Business School and collaborates with the Department of Political Science at Luiss Guido Carli.His research focuses on cyber diplomacy, digital sovereignty, disinformation, and Italy’s foreign policy. He has published extensively in top-tier journals such as West European Politics, The International Spectator, and Global Policy, and is the author of several books, including The Balancing Sultan (2023) and Antonio Segni’s Presidency and Italy’s International Role (2023).
