Francesco Amoretti, Simone Busetti, Maria Stella Righettini & Giancarlo Vecchi

This introduction highlights the reasons and opportunities why a policy approach to the study of cybersecurity is appropriate and summarises the contributions in the special issue. Some proposals for future research are outlined at the end of the contribution.
